Consultancy work

Here are a few examples of projects I have undertaken to date 

• Worked collaboratively with many universities and small specialist HEIs on a broad range of student, academic, policy, regulation, governance, professional service design and broader strategic projects.
• Researched and made recommendations on delivery of new academic provision.
• Created meaningful student-facing plain English policy and regulations for several institutions, as well as jargon-free academic policy to better support staff. 
• Reviewed the executive configuration of a specialist HEI.
• In partnership with clients, improved the organisational design of services to improve quality and to reduce cost. 
• Building upon my earlier career expertise, developed a collaborative provision framework to best manage risk.
• Partnered with several institutions on OfS requirements including writing and reviewing TEF submissions, preparing for awarding powers, drafting student protection plans and reviewing world-leading funding bids.
• Undertaken a student wellbeing/support review.
• Investigated complex student cases using my formal investigation training as well as recent training in investigating sexual misconduct
• Completed academic governance reviews, including one complete redesign.
